OECD 203: Fish, acute toxicity test

Fish are exposed to the chemical for a period of 96 hours under either static, semi-static or flow-through conditions. Mortalities and any visible or behavioral abnormalities are recorded.

Mortalities are recorded at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours and the concentrations to reach 50 % mortality of the fish (LC50) are determined.
